Cemal Zivali, Student-at-Law
Cemal is a Student-at-Law with SB LLP. He first joined the firm as a summer student before returning to article with the firm. Cemal has a strong interest in solicitor work alongside litigation.
Cemal received his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Sociology minor with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2023. He later received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2026. While in his first year of law school Cemal founded the Turkish Student Association (TSA) and has served as the president for three years.
Cemal is fluent in Turkish. Outside of his legal career, he owns his own business, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and remains active playing soccer on a men’s team.
