Rae Wilson, Student-at-Law
Rae is a student-at-law with SB LLP. She is interested in the practices of civil litigation and family law.
Rae received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Vancouver Island University. Before pursuing her legal education, Rae worked in patient care advocacy. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta.
During law school Rae enjoyed getting involved in the community through academic and social pursuits. She played on the women’s Panda Bearristers rugby team, and volunteered planning social events for the Faculty of Law’s LGBTQ2+ Student Association, and the Women’s Law Forum. Rae also mooted competitively at the national Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law moot and the national Family Law Negotiation Competition.
In her spare time, Rae enjoys watching horror movies, playing board games, and trying (unsuccessfully) to improve her golf game.
